  • O processo de fiação e mistura de cores é totalmente artesanal. Ocasionais irregularidades devem ser esperadas, pois são elas que tornam cada meada única. As cores e misturas podem variar ligeiramente dos tons reais.

    The carding and spinning process is completely artisanal. Occasional irregularities should be expected, as that is what gives each skein its uniqueness. Colours and blends may vary slightly from the actual tones.

  • Todos os fios são fiados à mão na minha roda de fiar e cada meada é lavada individualmente antes de ser enviada. Depois de utilizados (seja em tecelagem, tricot, crochet, etc.), a peça final pode ser lavada à mão com água fria ou morna e sabão neutro, sem esfregar. A peça deve secar plana à sombra para não alterar sua cor e formato.

    All yarn is handspun on my spinning wheel and every skein is washed individually before getting shipped. After being used (whether in weaving, knitting, crochet, etc.), the final piece can be hand washed with cold or warm water and mild soap, without scrubbing. The piece should dry flat in the shade so as not to alter its color and shape.

  • O tempo de processamento pode variar entre 1 a 5 dias úteis. Os clientes podem optar entre envio em correio normal (sem rastreamento), correio registado (com rastreamento) ou recolha gratuita no meu atelier. Assim que a encomenda seja enviada/esteja pronta para recolha, os clientes receberão uma notificação via email.

    The processing time can vary between 1 to 5 working days. Clients can choose between standard shipping (no tracking), express shipping (with tracking) and free pickup at my studio. Once the order is shipped/ready for pick-up, customers will receive a notification by email.

Spinning is, arguably, the most repetitive yet most rewarding task of the process of turning wool into cloth. I believe that the thread produced by hand is a faithful representation of each intention, emotion and perception at the time in which it was spun. A fragment of that present.
